RavelString Quartet in F

Formed in 2016, this young French quartet has achieved success in numerous international competitions and won the prestigious Young Classical Artists Trust auditions in London in 2021. They have an ever-growing diary of concerts. Their programme opens with one of the six celebrated Mozart quartets dedicated to Haydn and ends with what is surely the most famous of all French string quartets. Between these two works will be heard a short transcription of one of Brahms’ late piano pieces and a 10-minute work by the contemporary Sri Lankan composer Dinuk Wijeratne.
