Sunday 18 November 2018 at 3pm at Christ Church, Avenue Road, Malvern WR14 3AY
Orchestra Pro Anima with Tim Sidford (piano)
Michael Bochmann – Director/violin
In this concert, Orchestra Pro Anima will perform the marvellous programme which had to be postponed from last March due to the extreme weather conditions. As usual, the programme will feature music spanning the Baroque, Classical and Romantic periods, including works by Vivaldi, Handel, Mozart, Mendelssohn and Debussy. For this concert, the orchestra is delighted to welcome the acclaimed Malvern-resident pianist Tim Sidford to perform in Mozart’s beautiful Piano Concerto in A K414 and also Debussy’s Clair de Lune. The musicians in the orchestra have played together over a long period of time and their affinity with one another, coupled with the welcoming atmosphere of Christ Church, will make for a memorable afternoon of music-making.
